- We were responsible for the first procedure using the three-dimensional electroanatomical mapping system.
- We performed the first ablation procedure for complex arrhythmia and atrial fibrillation.
- We are at the forefront of electrophysiological study procedures, mapping and ablation of simple and complex cardiac arrhythmias.
- We lead the way in carrying out tilt-test examinations and analyzing 24-hour Holter examinations.
- We are the only clinic to carry out specific exams, such as installing an event monitor (Looper).
Services Offered:
-
Electrophysiological Study and Ablation. invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures indicated when the patient presents heart rhythm disturbances called cardiac arrhythmias.
Electrophysiological Study and Ablation. -
Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation and Other Complex Arrhythmias Using the 3D Electroanatomical Mapping System Complex ablations for the treatment of arrhythmias such as Atrial Fibrillation and cicatricial Ventricular Tachycardia are being carried out in Maringá with the help of new equipment, previously only available in large medical centers in São Paulo and other capitals.
Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation and Other Complex Arrhythmias Using the Ensite Velocity 3D Electroanatomical Mapping System. -
Tilt-Test or Tilted Table Test. Diagnostic exam used to identify the cause of symptoms such as dizziness and fainting, using, for this purpose, the monitoring of the client's blood pressure and heart rate in a horizontal position and after tilting the bed at 70 degrees for a pre-determined period.
Tilt-Test or Tilted Table Test. -
24 hour Holter. Test that measures the electrical activity of the heart for a prolonged period of time, usually 24 hours, on an outpatient basis.
24 hour Holter. -
ABPM - Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring. Non-invasive method of obtaining blood pressure twenty-four hours a day, while the patient is in their own home or work environment, which represents a true reflection of their blood pressure.
ABPM - Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring. -
Ergometric Test or Stress Test. It is used to assess cardiovascular functioning when subjected to gradually increasing physical effort on a treadmill. The main purpose of the test is to diagnose and evaluate coronary artery disease. It also assesses cardiorespiratory functional capacity, detection of arrhythmias, blood pressure abnormalities and myocardial ischemia.
Ergometric Test or Stress Test. -
Evaluation of Pacemakers, Implantable Cardio-Defibrillators and Cardiac Resynchronizers. After implantation, the pacemaker must be evaluated periodically, with these evaluations being more frequent in the immediate period after implantation and every 6 months in other periods. During these assessments, various information is collected and the pacemaker is programmed according to the individual needs of each patient, considering gender, age, physical activity and the underlying disease.
Evaluation of Pacemakers, Implantable Cardio-Defibrillators and Cardiac Resynchronizers. -
Control and Treatment of Atrial Fibrillation (AF). Atrial fibrillation is the most common change in heart rhythm. This condition puts a person at risk for stroke, heart attack and other problems.
Control and Treatment of Atrial Fibrillation (AF). -
Diagnosis and Treatment of Neuromeasured (Vasovagal) Syncope Fainting, or vasovagal syncope, is characterized by the loss of consciousness caused by a sudden decrease in blood pressure and heartbeat frequency, due to an imbalance in the autonomic nervous system. It is the most common form of loss of consciousness. Although considered normal, when it becomes frequent it significantly interferes with patients' quality of life. Furthermore, repetitive episodes can make these people vulnerable to accidents and physical trauma related to falls, which leads to the need for preventive treatment.
